Mortenhals
Mortenhals is an old trading post located in Malangen in Balsfjord municipality. Mortenhal's farm and trading post is located below Malangen church and, in addition to a large yard, also has a quay.
There has been a shop here since 1897 and a post office since 1892. The museum in Gammelbutikken shows how shop operations and daily life were 100 years ago.

Maria Kristoffersen is the fifth generation to run a farm at Mortenhals.
Maria is the soul of Mortenhals, she is the one who makes everything work and arranges it.
Einar Lillestøl
Handyman
Einar came to Mortenhals in 2019, and has since contributed to the renovation of the farm and the old shop.
He arranges most of the practical things.
